Description

Easy on purpose. A Comfort Colors 1717 tee with a soft, broken-in feel from the first wear, for the run and everything around it.

  • 100% ring-spun cotton, 6.1 oz.
  • Garment-dyed, so the color is soft and the shirt never feels new and stiff.
  • Relaxed unisex fit. Made to order in the USA.
Washing Instructions

Garment-dyed cotton wants a gentle life. Treat it well and it outlasts anything technical in your drawer.

  • Cold water, inside out.
  • Wash it separately the first time — garment dye can release a little colour in the first wash. That's the process working, not a fault.
  • Gentle detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
  • Tumble dry low, or hang it. Air drying keeps the fit and the print.
  • Don't iron the print. If you need to press it, go around the design.

Some fading and softening over time is the point. That's what garment-dyed cotton does.

Runners' Favorites

What You are Getting

A heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors tee — the thick, broken-in kind that gets softer for years. Not for running in; for everything around it — the coffee before, the bakery after, the rest day in between.

Made for the back of the pack.

We make shirts for people who stop for coffee at mile three, take walk breaks on purpose, and count a rainy Tuesday jog as a win. No splits, no medals required — just the kind of running you can imagine still doing at seventy. If that's you, you're home.

Why "Out & Back"

An out-and-back is the simplest route there is. You run out as far as feels right, you turn around, and you come home the way you came. No loop to close, no lap to finish — the distance is whatever you decide it is, and you get to decide mid-run. That felt like the right name for what we make.

Have Questions?

Where are you located?

We're a one-person shop based in the USA, and every shirt is printed here too.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet — US only for now. We'd rather get one country right before we start making promises about customs.

Will I get a tracking number for my order?

Yes — the moment your order ships you'll get an email with tracking. Since every shirt is printed just for you, expect it to ship within 2 to 5 business days of ordering.

What materials are your products made of?

Every tee in the store is printed on the same blank: the Comfort Colors 1717 — heavyweight 6.1 oz, 100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and soft-washed. We found the shirt we'd want to wear for years and stuck with it.
